You can play either a role of a Lead Scout (a person who knows of a ready-buyer) or a Sales Person (a person looking for a ready-buyer).
In either case we set you up with an anonymous email address empowering you to buy, sell or exchanges sales-ready leads anonymously and securely. We do not
reveal the identity of both parties (Lead-Scout and Sales Person) in a trade. All communications are discrete and anonymous.

A Lead Scout is a lead seller. Someone who possess valuable information of a ready buyer. You can play the role of a Lead Scout if you know someone looking to buy something.

How much does it cost to use the service? Do I need an account?
Use of HushLead service is free. If fact you don't even need an account to trade on HushLeads. In addition, we absolutely do not sell any of your leads or your email to anyone. We are passionately focussed on providing value to you.

What is a sales lead?
A sales lead is opportunity information about a person/company interested in purchasing a product or service in the immediate future.
For example you may know of a person interested in purchasing a car insurance policy or a company interested in purchasing some software or hiring a service professional.

As a sales person, how can I ensure quality of a sales lead I purchase?
As a lead buyer you have the ability to validate the authenticity of a sales opportunity within 5 days of receiving the lead. Remember you should only be validating if the lead represents a valid sales opportunity and not waiting to confirm a customer actually purchases your product or service.

Who sets the price of a Lead?
If a Lead Scout("lead seller") publishes an unsolicited lead, then the Lead Scout sets the price he/she wishes to be rewarded for providing information on a ready buyer. On the other hand, a sales person sets the lead price indicating the reward amount the sales person would pay a Lead Scout for providing a sales-ready lead.
While the price set represents the initial listing price, the final price can be negotiated between you and your trading partner via anonymous email dialogue.

When do I pay for a Lead?
This is a tough question to answer as Lead Scouts and Sales People have different view points. Sales People would like to pay Lead Scouts a percentage on closed sales where as Lead Scouts would like to get paid a fixed amount for verified opportunities.
Lead Scouts rational is that sales people derive tremendous value just by being alerted to a sales opportunity and should pay for value derived. Lead Scouts should not be penalized if a sales person cannot close a sale.
The lead generation industry has carefully considered both points of view and have voted with Lead Scouts point of view namely sales people should pay Lead Scouts for valued derived namely being alerted to verifiable sales opportunities.

Can I have my own payment terms?
Yes you can. This is left up to you and your trading partner to negotiate and agree on. You can specify your payment terms in either the lead posting or via email conversations.

We understand that both Lead Scouts and Sales People would like to protect their social capital and the information being exchanged is very valuable. Per terms of service, we will not disclose your personal information to anyone. This also help in preventing spammers from getting a hold of your email address.

How can you ensure my email is not disclosed?
We take email privacy very seriously. For each person who wishes to contact you ("your trading partner"), we generate a unique anonymous email (xxxxxx@hushleads.com) address to contact you. When your trading partners sends an email to your anonymous email we receive it and forward the email to you. When you respond you are actually responding to an anonymous email associated with your trading partner. We receive your response and then forward it to your trading partners email address. This way, neither your nor your trading partner email address is revealed no matter how many time you receive or reply to emails associated with your posting. Off course, if you disclose your email address in the body of your email, like your email signature in the body of your email, then all bets are off.
